Every year, a nighttime cherry blossom light-up is held to coincide with the cherry blossom season. Access: About a 15-minute walk from JR / Sanyo Himeji Station. The main street leading from the station to the castle is also lined with cherry trees, so just walking lifts the mood. There are paid parking lots around the castle, but road congestion gets severe on weekends during cherry blossom season, so we strongly recommend using public transport.

Hankyu Kobe Line "Shukugawa Station" is the nearest station, and as soon as you exit the ticket gate, the entrance to the cherry-blossom row spreads right before you. With outstanding access of about 20 minutes by express from Osaka-Umeda Station, it is also ideal for a day trip from Osaka. Since the area around the station gets very crowded on weekends during flower-viewing season, for those who want to enjoy it leisurely, we strongly recommend a visit on a weekday morning. Also, aiming for the "leaf-cherry" period after the peak of full bloom is a connoisseur's way to enjoy it.
