Imamiya Ebisu Shrine

Imamiya Ebisu Shrine, located in Naniwa Ward, Osaka City, is a god of business prosperity affectionately known as "Ebessan." Said to have been enshrined as a western guardian when Prince Shotoku built Shitennoji, it has long drawn the deep faith of Osaka merchants. Especially during the "Toka Ebisu" held every year from January 9 to 11, it shows tremendous liveliness with worshippers seeking fortune, making it one of Osaka's representative power spots.
