The Minamichita hot spring district spreads across the southern Chita Peninsula in Minamichita Town, Aichi. The name covers the coastal springs of Utsumi, Yamami and Toyohama, with inns dotted along the shore. Drawn from fossil water sleeping deep underground, it became a major hot spring district thanks to its abundant flow.
