Counted among the One Hundred Famous Mountains of Kyushu, it has long been an object of mountain worship cherished by local people. There is no large tourist temple here, but the contrast between its rugged rock faces and deep greenery gives visitors a sense of nature at its most powerful, making it a hidden power spot.
