Kushidagu in Kanzaki City, Saga Prefecture, is a venerable shrine that has long drawn the faith of the people as the guardian shrine of the Kanzaki estate. According to shrine tradition, when Emperor Keiko toured this land, he built the shrine to calm the suffering of the residents, and this is said to be its origin. This event is said to be the source of the place name Kanzaki, and the shrine is regarded as the head shrine of Kushida Shrine in Hakata. Believed to grant blessings for warding off misfortune, healing illness, and good marriage ties, it has long been cherished by locals.
