Located in the mountains of Ueno Village in Gunma, Fujido is one of the largest limestone caves in the Kanto region, stretching roughly 2.2 kilometers in total length. The tour route covers about 600 meters, letting you walk through cool underground passages and admire formations shaped by nature over countless years. Local legend says villagers discovered a small opening here about 1,200 years ago, and a monk later used the cave for spiritual training, which is why it has long been cherished as a place of purification.
