Nagashima Resort Nabana no Sato and Spa Land Full-Day Course

Spreading along the three rivers of the Kiso in northern Mie, Nagashima Resort is a huge leisure complex too big to enjoy in a single day. With the thrill machines of Nagashima Spa Land, the flowers and illuminations of Nabana no Sato, and an outlet mall, it is a perfect course for those who want to play energetically.

Course Route

10:00 Start at Nagashima Spa Land Head to one of the largest amusement parks in Japan. Wooden coasters and giant roller coasters and other thrill rides are all lined up here.

12:00 Lunch in the Park The spacious park has plenty of restaurants and snack stands. Take breaks as you enjoy your favorite attractions.

13:30 Shopping at Jazz Dream Nagashima If time allows, visit the large adjacent outlet mall. A wide variety of brand shops await for some shopping.

15:00 Move to Nabana no Sato Cross over to Nabana no Sato within the resort. Vast flower fields stretch out, blooming with tulips, hydrangeas, cosmos, and more depending on the season.

16:00 Visit the Begonia Garden The begonias filling the greenhouse are spectacular, an indoor spot you can enjoy even on rainy days.

18:00 Take in the Illuminations Once the sun sets, head to the illuminations that Nabana no Sato is famous for. Said to be among the largest in Japan, the dreamlike world of light and its glowing tunnel captivate every visitor.

Highlights

The highlight of this course is the sheer variety of things to do. From thrilling rides to seasonal flowers and nighttime illuminations, you can enjoy a full day in one place. The Nabana no Sato illuminations held from autumn through spring are especially a must-see in both scale and beauty. The tunnel of light is also perfect for a keepsake photo.

Access and Tips

Highway buses and cars from the Nagoya direction give convenient access. The site is so large it is hard to see everything in one day, so it helps to plan around your main goal. If you want the illuminations, arrange your timing to move to Nabana no Sato by evening so you do not miss the moment the lights switch on.

A Quick Tip

Both the amusement park and Nabana no Sato are large and involve a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. During illumination season the nights get cold, so do not forget a warm jacket.
