Staff and visitors alike play the part of Edo residents, with a rich lineup of authentic shows and hands on programs. At Ryuokyo, the contrast between rugged rock faces, as if a white dragon had rampaged, and the emerald green stream is superb. It is especially beautiful in fresh green and autumn foliage, perfect for a hiking style stroll.

Access and Tips

From the Tokyo area, the Tobu Railway limited express runs directly from Asakusa to Kinugawa Onsen Station without transfers. Edo Wonderland is about 15 minutes by bus from the station. For Ryuokyo, Ryuokyo Station on the Yagan Railway is convenient. The theme park takes several hours to tour thoroughly, so arriving at opening time is ideal.

A Quick Tip

Shows at Edo Wonderland run on a set schedule, so checking the timetable on arrival helps you enjoy it efficiently. The Ryuokyo trail has ups and downs, so wear comfortable walking shoes.
