Masumida Shrine, located in the center of Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, is a prestigious ancient shrine known as the first shrine of Owari Province. The very name of the city, Ichinomiya (meaning "first shrine"), derives from this shrine. Its enshrined deity is Amenohoakari-no-Mikoto.
