Awara Onsen
Awara Onsen is famous for hot water that first sprang from a rice paddy in the Meiji era, and it has since been cherished as one of the leading hot spring resorts of the Hokuriku region. A distinctive feature is that many of the inns draw from their own individual sources.

It is about fifteen minutes by bus from JR Awara Onsen Station, and within walking distance of Awara Yunomachi Station on the Echizen Railway. Many inns also welcome day visitors for bathing.A Quick Tip
