Hitachi Unomisaki Onsen springs up on the Pacific facing shore of Hitachi City in northern Ibaraki. Located near the scenic Unomisaki cape, it lets you bathe wrapped in the blue sea and the sea breeze. Access and Basic Information

JR Hitachi Station on the Joban Line is the base, and you reach the coast by bus or car. By car, access it from the Hitachi Chuo interchange on the Joban Expressway. Day bathing facilities are also scattered about.

If you want to watch the sunrise, choose an east facing bath or room. The glass fronted Hitachi Station, open toward the sea, is also worth a look while you are here.
