๐ŸŽจ Ishikawa|June 30, 2026

Tatsunokuchi Onsen

A quiet spa in Nomi City, Tatsunokuchi lies in hill country about 40 minutes by bus from Kanazawa. Long known as a place for healing stays, it charms visitors with a calm atmosphere surrounded by rice fields and mountains. It suits those who want to be welcomed by hill-country hospitality between work and sightseeing.

Highlights

Several baths welcome day visitors, including a public bath, and open-air tubs from which you can gaze at the paddies and the stars are well regarded for their bright, open feel. The waters rising in the quiet hills help you forget the bustle of the city. From spring through autumn you can also savor the sense of the seasons unique to the countryside, with fireflies and dragonflies.

Enjoying the Seasons

In spring the flooded paddies shine, summer brings lush green rice and starry skies, and autumn spreads golden ears of grain. Winter offers a deeply soothing bath amid the quiet snowy scenery.

Access and Basic Information

About 40 minutes by bus from JR Kanazawa Station, alighting right at Tatsunokuchi Onsen. By car it is roughly 30 minutes from the Kanazawa-nishi interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway, or about 20 minutes from the Komatsu interchange. Please confirm day-use hours and fees with each facility.

A Quick Tip

There are few lights at night, so the stars show clearly on a fine evening. Pausing to look up at the night sky after your bath is one of this area special pleasures.
