For those traveling by rail in 2026: According to the official Ono City information (updated September 4, 2026), due to storm and flood damage at the end of August, the JR Etsumi-Hoku Line has operated since September 7 with trains between Fukui Station and Miyama Station (on a reduced schedule) and a JR replacement bus between Miyama Station and Echizen-Ono Station (at the same fare as the Etsumi-Hoku Line).
