Matsuba Onsen Taki no Yu

In the mountains of Kaizuka City, Osaka, beside the Chikiri River, Matsuba Onsen Taki no Yu is a lodging and day-use hot spring with a natural radon spring. The radon water rising from granite warms the body easily and, once warm, is slow to cool. In a quiet setting wrapped in the sound of water and greenery, you can enjoy an unhurried soak.

Highlights

- A natural radon spring that warms you from the core, the pride of the inn. - A nature-rich location where you sense the murmur of the Chikiri River. - Indoor and open-air baths where you soak while viewing the mountain scenery of each season. - The convenience of serving both overnight and day-use guests.

Enjoying the Seasons

With dazzling greenery in spring, a cool river breeze in summer, and foliage in autumn, the valley shows a different face each season. In the easily chilly winter, the welcome warmth of the radon spring sinks in all the more. Strolling by the river after the bath is another pleasant way to spend the time.

Access and Basic Information

- Address: 3488 Kizumi, Kaizuka City, Osaka - Access: About 10 minutes by car or bus from Mizuma-Kannon Station on the Mizuma Railway, and about 5 minutes from the Kaizuka IC on the Hanwa Expressway. - Day bathing: from midday until evening (check the latest information). - Parking available. Drive with care on the mountain road.

A Quick Tip

A radon spring keeps you warm long after the bath, so it is especially recommended in chilly seasons. It is close to Okumizuma Onsen, so planning a day of hot spring hopping is enjoyable too.
