Kaike Onsen in Yonago City, Tottori is a hot spring resort on the coast of Yumigahama Peninsula facing the Sea of Japan. As a leading San'in tourist hot spring area in an ideal location with sandy beaches, Sea of Japan, and the distant grand figure of Mt. Daisen, many tourists visit annually.

Japan's First Triathlon Birthplace

Kaike Onsen is where Japan's first triathlon competition was held in 1981. The "Kaike Triathlon" held annually in July continues today, drawing participants from across Japan. The hot spring resort unique experience of "recovering in hot springs after racing" is also popular.
