Access and Tips
Shirahama is about two and a half hours from Osaka on the Kuroshio limited express. Local buses make getting around town easy, and a one-day pass is good value. There are several hot spring facilities, so a bath-hopping tour is recommended. The sunset time at Engetsuto shifts with the season, so check the sunset hour in advance.
A Quick Tip
Summer is crowded with beachgoers, so an early start is more comfortable. Adventure World is large, so dress in easy walking clothes.
