Bandai Atami Onsen
West of Koriyama, in the valley of the Iogawa River, Bandai Atami Onsen is an old spring said to have been discovered in the Kamakura period. A legend tells that Princess Iroko, who came down from the capital, healed her illness in its waters, and it is beloved as the retreat of Koriyama.
