Lake Toya, spreading at the heart of Shikotsu-Toya National Park, is the third largest caldera lake in Japan. A hot spring town overlooking the water lies along its southern shore. The sodium and calcium chloride spring washes away grime and excess oil, leaving skin smooth, and it is loved as a beauty-water spring.
