Basashi (Horse Sashimi)

Karashi Renkon

Ikinari Dango
A steamed dumpling made of sweet potato and red bean paste wrapped in wheat flour dough โ the most beloved Kumamoto sweet.

The Amakusa islands offer outstanding fresh seafood including octopus, spiny lobster and kuruma shrimp.
