• Current status: The day-trip bathing facility Community Welfare Centre Arakawa Onsen closed at the end of March 2026. It is being rebuilt, so bathing is not possible
• Reopening plans: It is scheduled to open as the public bathhouse Arakawa Onsen in summer 2027 (construction of the hot spring facility is scheduled to start in autumn 2026). The accommodation facility HOTEL JIHONGAI is scheduled to open fully in summer 2028
• Spring quality: Sodium-calcium chloride spring. The Japan Spa Association registers it as a chloride spring
• Conditions the spring quality is said to suit: Cuts, peripheral circulatory disorders, sensitivity to cold, depressive states and dry skin
