Running about four hundred meters from Teramachi to Takakura Street, it is packed with specialty shops selling Kyoto vegetables, fresh fish, pickles, rolled omelets, and sweets. Professional chefs and travelers mingle here, making it a place to experience the food of Kyoto firsthand.
