This is a resort hotel on the heights of Motobu Town in northern Okinawa. On the top floor there is an observation bath overlooking an ocean view, where you can spend a relaxed southern moment gazing at the wide sky and sea.

Highlights

The highlight is the large bath with an ocean view seen from the top floor. An open-air bath is also attached, and you can warm yourself while watching the colors of the sea change hour by hour. With famous spots such as the Churaumi Aquarium and the Bise fukugi tree-lined road nearby, it is convenient as a base for sightseeing in the north.

Enjoying the Seasons

In summer, alternate between the open-air bath and the infinity pool; in winter, settle your body in the warm observation bath. The sea looks different in the morning and at night, so visiting at different times offers different views.

Access and Basic Information

The address is Motobu Town, Kunigami District. It is about two hours by car from Naha Airport, and roughly forty minutes from the Kyoda Interchange on the Okinawa Expressway. The Churaumi Aquarium is only a few minutes away by car, making it an ideal lodging base for sightseeing in the north. The observation bath is a facility for hotel guests, and the official guidance lists use from around six to ten in the morning and from sixteen to twenty-four in the evening. Hours vary by season and operation, so please check the official site for the latest details before you visit. Parking may involve a charge depending on the number of vehicles.

Practical Travel Notes

The best times are early morning, when the sea is bright, and the quiet hours after sunset. A pleasant flow is to tour the Churaumi Aquarium, the Bise fukugi tree-lined road, and Emerald Beach during the day, then close the evening with an observation soak back at the hotel. The aquarium and nearby sights are each within about ten minutes by car, so a day can be covered efficiently. Allow around thirty minutes to an hour for the bath itself, and take a rest between soaks. For a stay, the budget depends on the plan, so confirm the rates on the official site to be sure.

A Quick Tip

If you make it your base for touring the north, you can rest in the observation bath at the end of the day. The view is especially lovely at dusk, so timing your soak with sunset is a fine idea. Do not forget to book early and to rehydrate after your bath.
