Unique Architectural Design

The Umeda Sky Building, completed in 1993, features a distinctive structure with two high-rise towers joined by a connecting section at the top. Known worldwide for the rare design linking the tops of the two towers in mid-air, it is highly regarded in overseas architecture guides. With 40 floors above ground and 2 below, and a rooftop height of about 170 meters, it stands as a landmark of Umeda. Views from the Floating Garden Observatory

The Floating Garden Observatory at the top comprises the 39th and 40th floors and the rooftop level, and from atop the circular structure linking the two towers, you can walk a full loop for 360-degree views of Osaka. Below spread the Yodo River and the city's high-rise cluster, and on clear days the view reaches distant mountains.

After sunset, a night view of countless twinkling lights unfolds, and its romantic atmosphere makes it popular as a date spot. On the rooftop Lumi Sky Walk, luminous stones set into the floor create a magical effect.
