Access and Basic Information

From Senzu Station on the Oigawa Railway, a bus heads to Sumatakyo Onsen. The deep mountain setting makes for a long journey, but the richness of nature on arrival is all the more rewarding. The bridge is reached on foot from the hot spring town.

The bridge can mean long waits when crowded, so early morning is best. Visiting in comfortable walking shoes is recommended.
