Nagato Yumoto Onsen
Spread along the Otozure River in central Nagato, this is regarded as the oldest hot spring in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Legend says the waters gushed forth in the Muromachi period following a revelation from the Sumiyoshi deity. Inns, foot baths, and eateries line the river, making it a delightful place for a stroll.
