Yuno Onsen

Springing from the upper Yaji River in Shunan, this hot spring is counted among the three great springs of the old Bocho region and has long been called the quiet retreat of Tokuyama. Its alkaline sulfur water, rare along the Seto Inland coast, is cherished as a moisturizing beauty spring.

Highlights

Its charm lies in the peaceful riverside setting wrapped in rich nature. The silky feel of the water gently eases away everyday fatigue.

Enjoying the Seasons

Buds open along the river in spring, fireflies glimmer in summer, the hills turn red in autumn, and bathing in crisp winter air brings its own delight, letting you feel every season in quiet surroundings.

Access and Basic Information

It is about a twenty-minute drive from JR Tokuyama Station on the Sanyo Main Line. Easy to reach from the Hiroshima direction, it also suits a day trip.

A Quick Tip

Enjoy the soft touch unique to a sulfur spring by soaking slowly in the cooler water for a long, relaxing bath.
