Inuyama Onsen

Inuyama Onsen rises beside Inuyama Castle, a national treasure, and the Kiso River in Inuyama City, Aichi. Set where you can enjoy the charm of a castle town and river scenery, it is known as a newer spring drilled jointly by local inns and hotels in recent decades. The colorless, odorless alkaline water is praised for leaving the skin smooth and is also called the Hakutei waters.

Highlights

- An atmospheric view of Inuyama Castle, a national treasure, across the river - Gentle alkaline simple water known as the Hakutei waters - A trip pairing the flow of the Kiso River with a stroll through the castle town - Nearby cultural sights such as the famed Japanese garden Urakuen

Enjoying the Seasons

Spring brings splendid views of cherry blossoms along the Kiso River and the castle, the liveliest season for the spring town. In summer the river breeze cools the air and an after-bath walk feels pleasant. Autumn deepens the calm charm of the castle town, and winter offers an exceptional soak with the castle in view amid clear air. The castle and river scenery can be enjoyed all year.
