Awazu Onsen

A venerable spa of the Kaga hot spring district in Komatsu City, Awazu is said to have been opened roughly 1300 years ago. Its colorless, clear and gentle water has long been cherished as a place for therapeutic stays. The famous Natadera Temple stands nearby, so many visitors enjoy the two together.

Access and Basic Information

About 10 minutes by car from JR Awazu Station, or take a local bus from Komatsu Station and alight at Awazu Onsen. The Kaga loop bus called the Can Bus is convenient for reaching Natadera. Please confirm the Soyu closing days and fees with the official information.

A Quick Tip

Awazu and Natadera are close by car, so you can tour both the bath and the temple in half a day. Visiting Natadera in the morning and bathing in the afternoon makes for a comfortable plan.
