Miegusuku Onsen, a Rare Hot Spring in the Heart of Naha

๐ŸŒบ Okinawa|June 26, 2026

Miegusuku Onsen

Tucked inside a hotel near the harbor of Naha City, Miegusuku Onsen is a natural hot spring that is rare to find in an urban setting. The water, pumped up from deep underground, contains salt and warms the body thoroughly. Close to Kokusai Street, it is a convenient base for both sightseeing and business trips.

Highlights

From the bath on the lower floors of the high-rise hotel, you can sense the atmosphere of Naha's port and streets. Beyond the hot spring, there are saunas and rest areas, letting you enjoy a quiet moment in the middle of the city.

Enjoying the Seasons

Okinawa is warm year-round, but in summer the water gently restores a body chilled by air conditioning, while in winter the salty bath warms you before you head back out to town. After dinner along Kokusai Street at night, it makes for a perfect final soak.

Access and Basic Information

About 10 minutes by car from Naha Airport, and within walking distance of Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail monorail. Reception hours and fees for day-use bathing may change, so it is wise to confirm the official information before your visit.

A Quick Tip

Salty water warms the body well, but it can also leave you a little light-headed afterward. Stay hydrated before and after bathing, and rest unhurriedly before heading out again.
