Hira Topia Onsen

At the foot of the Hira mountain range in Kitahira of Otsu City, Hira Topia is a day-use hot spring where you can drop by easily on the way back from hiking or leisure.

A weakly alkaline simple spring with a pH of 9.13, it has a mild, easy touch on the skin. With an open-air bath, sauna, and a cold bath fed by source water, it leaves you refreshed and clear-headed.
