Itamuro Onsen
This hot spring rises in the mountains on the upper Naka River in Nasushiobara City and has long been called a medicinal spring of the old Shimotsuke province. Its quiet atmosphere, not overly developed for tourism, is still carefully preserved.Highlights

Methods that let you bathe long without straining the body, such as reclining baths and the rope bath where you hold a cord, have been handed down here. With many inns aimed at recuperation, it is perfect for those who want to rest body and mind.Enjoying the Seasons
In the fresh green season the mountains are vivid, and in autumn the surrounding trees turn beautiful colors. Winter offers the luxury of soaking amid the silence of a snow-wrapped landscape. Nearby are the Itamuro Onsen Shrine and nature trails for observing the wild, making it a fine place to spend time at leisure.Access and Basic Information
