Hachinohe Enburi
Held annually February 17โ20 in Hachinohe, Aomori, the Hachinohe Enburi is a prayer ritual for a bountiful harvest with over 800 years of history. Designated as a National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property, it is Hachinohe's biggest winter event.

All performances are free to watch during the event. February in Hachinohe is cold โ dress warmly. Some venues offer complimentary amazake (sweet rice drink).
