Kamasaki Onsen

In the hills of Shiroishi, Kamasaki is a historic old spa said to have been discovered more than six centuries ago. Access and Basic Information

Access is by bus or taxi from Shiroishi Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line or Shiroishi-Zao Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen. By car, head into the hills from the Shiroishi interchange on the Tohoku Expressway and you will soon arrive.

A Quick Tip

The iron-rich water can leave color on fabrics, so take care with white towels. To savor the atmosphere of a historic healing inn, staying several nights and relaxing is recommended.
