Fukushima is Japan's top peach producer. Varieties like Akatsuki and Kawanakajima Hakuto are celebrated for their juicy sweetness.

Stick Cod (Bou-dara ni)
Aizu's preserved food tradition β dried pollock simmered in sweet soy sauce. A classic side dish and souvenir from the castle town.
Access
Aizu Wakamatsu and Kitakata City have the highest concentration of specialty restaurants. Kitakata ramen shops open early for morning diners.
