The standard route is to park at the Tsujunkyo roadside station, view Tsujun Bridge, then walk down the promenade to Goroga-taki. It is about 15 minutes on foot to the falls, and the view from the suspension bridge is the finest vantage point. A path also descends to the plunge pool, but some spots are slippery, so comfortable walking shoes are advisable. Tsujun Bridge is a stone arch aqueduct carrying irrigation water, and on certain days a dramatic water release can be seen (check the release schedule in advance). Allow one to two hours to stroll the falls and the bridge together.A Word of Advice
It is best to tour it together with Tsujun Bridge. On sunny days a rainbow may form in the spray, so viewing with the sun at your back makes it easier to spot. The suspension bridge can be slippery, so hold the railing and proceed slowly.๐ Location & Access
