From Izu Nagaoka Station on the Izuhakone Railway, a bus reaches the hot spring district. It is also about forty minutes by car from the Numazu Interchange, making it a handy base for touring Izu.

The location makes side trips to nearby spas such as Shuzenji easy. Aim for a clear day on the Katsuragi ropeway for the best view of Mount Fuji.
