Kamiyama Onsen
This historic hot spring wells up in Kamiyama town among the mountains of Tokushima. Said to date back to the Keio era, it offers both day-use baths and lodging and has long been loved by locals and travelers alike.

The distinctive salt spring, which contains sodium bicarbonate, has a slightly slippery feel. It is famed for leaving the skin silky smooth afterward and is known as a beauty bath. The salt-rich water warms you thoroughly, loosening a chilled body from the core.

Access and Basic Information
It is in Jinryo, Kamiyama town, Myozai District. Driving from central Tokushima via Route 438 is convenient. A day-use bathing facility is attached.

Since the water leaves skin smooth, do not forget to moisturize afterward. Combined with the town cafes and craft studios, it makes an enjoyable half-day plan.
