Kamojima Onsen

This is Kamo no Yu, a day-use hot spring beloved by locals in Kamojima town, Yoshinogawa City. Its open-air baths with fine views toward the Shikoku mountains are well regarded, and it is popular as a countryside bathhouse for a casual stop.

The water is a sodium and magnesium chloride spring. Soaking in the deeply warming chloride water, you can take in the ridgelines of the Shikoku mountains from the open-air bath. Prized for easing nerve and muscle pain and fatigue, it draws a steady stream of visitors seeking to unwind.

Spring brings cherry blossoms along the nearby Yoshino River, summer the green of the ranges, and autumn foliage tinting the slopes, all viewable from the open-air bath. It is perfect as a finish to cycling or driving along the Yoshino River.

Access and Basic Information

It is in Iio, Kamojima town, Yoshinogawa City. A short drive from JR Kamojima Station, it is easy to reach from central Tokushima as well. It is a facility for day-use bathing only.

The mountain-view open-air bath is especially fine in the evening light. Parking is ample, making it an easy stop mid-drive.
